Christmas Greetings & Eatings!

Merry Christmas........

to you & yours!!!! I hope you enjoy the rest of your year & experience every happiness you deserve!!!!!

While I am happy to say I haven't gotten caught up in the commercial aspect of the holiday, I do get happily obsessed in planning for the Christmas celebration dinner at my house each year. So, I'd like to share my menu since a few have asked.

~ Featured Cocktail ~
Pomegranate Margaritas

~ Starters ~
Caramelized Onion Dip with Crudites
Tomato Mozzarella Salad with Olive Oil & Balsamic
Potstickers with Sweet Soy Dipping Sauce
Brandied Shrimp

~ Main Course ~
Beef Tenderloin (filet mignon) with Red Wine Sauce
Parmesan Roasted Broccoli*
Garlic Smashed Potatoes
Creamed Spinach*

~ Dessert  ~
Chocolate Fountain with Assorted Dippers
Lemon Ricotta Cookies
Vodka Espresso Cocktail
Assorted desserts brought by guests

{ The chocolate fountain shall flow }

* I normally don't make 2 green veggies but I am purposely making one as an alternative to the other in case guests do not like one of the options. If you care to have any of the recipes above just let me know & I will be happy to forward it to you.

Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas to you and your adorable family. Your menu sounds fantastic and very similar to mine. I'm adding Fontina Macaroni to mine and am now really thinking about adding the pomegranate margaritas. Lovely idea!

Wow, Steph, that sounds wonderful! I get a bit of a break this year, as Joe wants to do most of the cooking for our Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinners. It's fun for me to cook, but it is also nice to let someone else do most of the work some years. I hope you have a great celebration -- with plenty of time to sit down in front of the Christmas tree, put your feet up, and enjoy your guests.

I wanted to let you know I'm linking to your blog on Christmas Eve. I tried a version of your crescent bacon and cheese tarts over the weekend. I have had your recipe in the back of my mind for a while, so you'll have to stop by sometime to see what I came up with for Christmas morning!

Mmmm yum~ I'm in search of a side dish recipe to take to my uncle's for Christmas Day dinner... the only criteria being it has to avoid sweet potatoes. I'm intrigued by both yours, as I know I love them both. Can you share?

Hi...yes...we WILL be dining at your house this Christmas. Virtually, that is.

p.s. You are so gorgeous--and y'all's pic will be up on the French Memo board in my bathroom this year--so I'll think of you often. As well I should...
